Which is Chinese for "why," btw.

Anyways, My host family in Taiwan is going to stay with grandma for Chinese New Year. This is cool, but we leave tomorrow at 11 am. So Francis and Daniel are gonna be MIA for three or four days. Just thought you should all know. : )

I'm excited, but I wish they would have told me a few days ago instead of ten minutes ago! D:

When Daniel returned to his log cabin home from the Inauguration party, he was far past minding the noise and the lights of the city. Sure, it felt nice to be back home again, but it felt far nicer knowing he'd made some new friends. Pakistan, Scotland, and Long Island (thought that one really shouldn't have had to count) had all been very nice and made the night enjoyable. He really respected Kiza, still seeming so dignified and elegant after all she was going through. Scotland made a good impression as well, and Long Island.. Well, it was nice to remind the lower part of the state AGAIN of his own geography.

And then there was Meriweather. Daniel blushed and smiled brightly as he thought of her. She was so cute! The Park wasn't sure what it was about her, but something about Washington State made him feel, for lack of a better term, all warm and fuzzy. And she had agreed to come visit him! Daniel flopped down on his thick blanketed bed and hugged a pillow close in excitement. He'd have to plan an extra special visit for her! He'd show her all the wonderful things Upstate had to offer. He'd prove it was the best place in the world, even if it didn't have cell phone service or huge shopping malls.
